LEGO Ninjago Quake Mech 70632 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Mech so Far Let me just say that this is probably one of my favorite sets (next to the Rock Roader and Morro's Dragon). If you are thinking of buying a nice big set for yourself and you are a Cole fan (or a fan of awesome stuff) then you should buy this! I'll break down the set and get all of the details covered so you can decide if you want the set or not. First I'll talk about the minifigures. The set comes with 5 minifigures; Lady Iron Dragon, Cole, Fred Finley, and two Shark Army dudes. The Cole that it has is the same one you can get from the Manta Ray Bomber (which I got for Cole in the first place). He is a very nice figure to have and this is a cool way to get him if you need him. The Lady Iron Dragon minifigure is awesome to have. I was hoping that she would appear in a set so the fact that she came in this one was awesome and convenient. Fred Finley is okay, nothing too special about him per say. The set also has 2 new Shark Army dudes, so if you have a Shark Army collection to get beat up by the Ninja, these dudes will do. Next I will focus on the set itself. Like I said, it is just beautiful. The attention to detail is impeccable and it makes a great display and play set. For those who wondered how it stood up just like I did, it has a kickstand built in the back so you can easily stand it up. My favorite part of the set is the turntables in the cockpit. He has some AC/DC records playing and that is just awesome to me. Other features that are awesome are the HUGE tire, the arms with articulated fingers, and the shooting speakers. The tire is massive, it's honestly amazing. The way that the lower half of the set is designed looks amazing, especially with the tire. The arms have the shooting speaker mechanism, and let me tell you, this is one swole mech. The arms are big enough to be able to have the articulated hands, so he can pick up Shark Army dudes and fling them across the room. After he has flung them he can shoot them. This whole set is really fun to play with. Overall this is a wonderful set. I can't say that there is one reason you shouldn't get it, because it is so great. Whether you want it for display, playing with, or both, this is an awesome set for all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big and beautiful with 1 major flaw. This is an awesome set. Its fun to play with and it looks amazing BUT Misako's face is not the right colour. It looks like a head from a fake minifig. She's the best looking figure in the set but the badly painted face really stands out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misako's Face? Really? Really enjoying the build - It's a great set! But the massive letdown is the really bad print on Misoka's Face... The face is all muddy and almost grey in colour , and it should be yellow? I collect Mini-figures, and I am very disappointed with the lack of quality on her face. What are you doing Lego? this is a let down!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Earth Shattering Set! As soon as I left The Ninjago Movie I knew I had to get this thing when it became a set. It's gargantuan presence on screen was breathtaking. I can gladly say that same bulk has translated perfectly to this model I now have before me. Starting with the positives; the mech has surprisingly good articulation for a set of it's size, with both shoulder and elbow joints. The genius idea of including a kick-stand in the design helps it stay upright on that one massive tire. The flick missiles are beautifully hidden inside the shoulders of the mech and even when exposed, they blend in by resembling amplifier speakers. As a musician, this detail makes me very happy. The Cole figure looks great, thankfully including the wristband printing that has been missing from many of his releases. The shark army soldiers are nice as it's always good to have goons to fight, and i can't forget the newsman who's of course the civilian Cole must save. The last figure, Lady Iron Dragon, is generally a good figure, but i'll address my issue with her later. The general experience building the mech was very involved. it took me roughly 2 ours. Now, the negatives; i mentioned that I have an issue with Lady Iron Dragon and that issue is with her face. Due to being yellow printed on a black head, the end result is closer to Orange than the normal LEGO minifig yellow. I've tolerated this with characters like batman who is mostly concealed in his suit, but the colour fading is disgustingly obvious here because she has Yellow hands. Personally i would have been happier if she just had a regular head even if it is inaccurate to the film. Though it's a bit nitpicky, I was disappointed to not see anything at the back of the mech's cockpit representing Cole's record collection, an aspect of the design that really stood out to me. Yes he's got his twin turntables up front but in the film he had shelves of records beside him. I know that's not practical in a set like this, but maybe a sticker or two giving the image of these shelves could have been added. Overall, this is a phenomenal set with only a few minor gripes to be had. would recommend this to any LEGO fan of Ninjago, mechs or both. The face print problem is not exclusive to this set so don't let that take away from how awesome this set is. But, seriously though LEGO, these face print problems need to be solved. All Batman figures look like he's been in the sun for too long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let's Rock! The Quake Mech is "the final mech" as many call it, and it does not remotely fall short to its predecessors. The kickstand was a really good idea to deal with the uniwheel design that the Quake Mech is famous for. The spinning CDs were a huge aspect about Cole himself, so I'm glad that the makers of these sets decided to add them in. The boombox speakers are really cool and creative, and the fists are perfect for playing with. The wheel goes really fast, but it can easily run out of control if you are not acquainted with doing something like this. In conclusion, the Quake Mech stands out from the other Ninjago Mechs, and it makes people wish two things: that there will be more mechs like this, and that the makers will get a huge raise in salary; they deserve it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied I like all the mech sets and garmadon army sets, not so much the location sets, but the quake mech was the set I was looking forward to the the most and it met all my expectations. As much as I’d like the mechs to resemble their movie counterparts more, I understand the compromise and I think Lego did well to adjust the designs to keep the essence of the sets and now have it break the bank.
