My 6 month old baby girl loves her new Philips Classic pacifier! A few things that SHE likes about it. The size of the nipple. We needed to go up a size since she is getting older now (sad face) so when we received this as part of the weeSpring parent panel I was excited! She has been having trouble keeping her pacifier in her mouth. It would keep popping out at night, making her wake up, which would wake me up. SHE KEEPS THIS ONE IN! Yay! Better sleep for this tired Momma and her baby. She also has such an easy time finding it and grabbing onto it because it has that handle on it! A few things I love about it! THE CAP~YES! We are out and about a lot, and we use that cap a lot to keep germs and fuzzies from getting all over it. We also keep an extra pacifier capped in the diaper bag and I don't have to worry about it getting nasty in there. Both are super easy to clean. I either pop it in the dishwasher or I put it in the bottle warmer to sterilize it, along with the cap. We also love how cute the design is on the front. We got little seal with a heart around her on one, and the other one has pink and purple hearts on it. Although the color of them doesn't really matter, they sure are cute to look at! We highly recommend this pacifier. I think the difference in shape from our other pacifiers is what she enjoys most. She also loves playing with the handle on the pacifier while it's in her mouth (not that it's helpful, but makes it more appealing to her!). The glow in the dark night time pacifier would be especially helpful to find it in her crib at night if she still took one to bed. I like that these come with individual caps for storage when many other brands do not. This was our first time using Philips Avent Pacifiers but we'll definitely keep them in mind for our next baby! He took to these immediately and I loved the snap on caps that kept them clean when not in use. These are my go to. I have 5 kiddos and they prefer these to any others we have tried. I love the snap on cap- it allows us to throw them in the diaper bag or a pocket and still keep the nipple clean. Unfortunately, she wouldn't accept it and we continue to use the Soothies, but it's a great option to try. The orthodontic nipple shape is ideal for developing teeth and the snap on cap is great as you can throw it in your diaper bag without worry of it getting dirty. I also love that there's even a fun glow in the dark one! First looking at the pacifier, I like the rounded shape of the nipple and that it doesn&rsquo;t have a flat part like some pacis have. My babies have always preferred the round nipples. I also think the snap on cap is a great addition to the pacifier. It makes it easy to clean them, then snap the cap on and toss a couple in the baby bag. This way you always can have a clean pacifier ready for those times when baby just throws them down. These clean up well. Upon opening I generally boil for 5 minutes to sterilize (According to package instructions). On a daily basis I just clean with warm soapy water and about once every 7-10 days I&rsquo;ll boil again. One downside is that the nipple can fill with water when cleaning. I will then get some clean tongs and squeeze all the water out. I just get concerned if there is soapy water left in the nipple-not something I want my baby ingesting. But this seems pretty standard in pacifiers. The handle on these are also a nice feature because it makes grabbing them easy for me and my daughter can easily put them in her mouth. Overall these are my favorite pacifiers. They are cute, colorful, and hold up well over long periods of use. I would definitely recommend. The snap-on cap keeps it clean while on the go. My little one is used to a different brand pacifier and wouldn't take this one, but the nipple size and shape seems very similar to other leading brands and would work great. The ring on the front of the pacifier makes it easy for parents to hold, and in a pinch offers a toy to play with for a baby.
