ALEX Future Coders Poppin' Pictures is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing My two kids who are nuts about puzzles really had a ball with this. They picked up the concept pretty quickly and have spent countless hours playing with the kit. I hope they release more soon because this really makes them use their brains and keeps them occupied. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and engaging! My son loves tactile toys that make him engage his mind, and this one definitely fits the bill! I was surprised by how much he's loved making the different patterns, both on his own and to match the included cards. The storage compartment is a little tight for all of the tiles, and the little suction cup doesn't do the best job of picking them up...he frequently gets frustrated and just uses his fingers to place them. Overall, I would recommend this toy, he's gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it, and I can see that it's making him think while he's playing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun way to practice sequencing skills. My children, ages 5 and 6, love playing with this toy. It has been a great way for them to work on sequencing and problem-solving skills. The challenge cards have a code on the back that breaks down the image into colors and shapes. The image is created by following the shapes and correlating colors. My little ones loved the idea of the suction cup tool. It is difficult for them to press the button correctly so they prefer to place the tiles with their fingers instead. All of the pieces conveniently fit into the base. The cards slide into a compartment on the bottom, the suction tool attaches to the side and there is a compartment on top for the tiles. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really wanted to like this product more I️ thought this toy would be an excellent fit for my two children (almost 4 and 5 1/2). The packaging itself is cute, but it has many drawl backs. The little suction cup pen provided, which is used to pick up the tiles and place into “code” is so hard to manipulate for little hands. My oldest had the best luck, but still had struggles. The process of putting the tiles into was not rewarding. More times than not, my kiddos were too frustrated and on the verge of giving up. Myself or my husband had to help, which is not ideal.. (I️ would prefer it to be a quiet, self entertaining and educational toy; not one where I️ need to sit and “babysit” their progress). Some of the little pictures were incredibly hard to figure out what they were supposed to be. Also, to call this product “coding” is much of a stretch. The name did catch my attention and I️ was intrigued. Sadly, it is just a glorified puzzle, or almost like a paintless paint by number. I️ don’t follow how this leads to precoding or anything. technological. The product case and idea is cute but it just doesn’t come together like I wished it would. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really fun toy!! My son loves this!! It was a bit difficult to figure out the pen at first. It does work well though. Set the pen on a tile, push and hold the button, lift the tile, set it where you want it and slide your finger off the button to release the tile. Makes cool pictures!! Rated 5 out of 5 by from So fun and incredibly age appropriate! I had my son (age 8) and my daughter (age 5) try out this game. They loved the concept of matching shapes to colors and my daughter, who first felt flummoxed, figured it out immediately with a tiny bit of help from mommy. After she successfully created her picture, she told me that she loved the game. My son, too, really liked it and didn't even want to share it, it was so fun for him. I really want to instill a solid sense of STEM in my kids (I'm a STEM person myself) and this is definitely a game that gets those kids in that direction. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Awesome developing game I played this with my, just turned 4 year old. She had fun picking the colors and did great in placement of tiles in the corners as sides. She kind of lost interest in the center because it was a little to hard for her yet. She also struggles with the pen a little but I guess with some more practice it should not be a issue. I only rated 3 stars because fishing the tiles out of the robots mouth is annoying I wish it had didvided slots so every color has its own slot. Also the age should be 4.5 or 5. I love how the game makes you think and pay attention And developed motor skills and solution skills. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
