The connection from the blue downhill wish it had another tower as the small connection is easy to lose and you don&rsquo;t get an extra or additional to buy online. The top part is the perfect height but my son keeps asking me to make a bridge so that it goes full circle. Pity there wasn&rsquo;t an attachment you could buy to add on to make it into a full circle. I have other parts so I try and make a circle of towers and tracks. There are so many videos in Thomas about shakey shakey bridges that would be nice to have one!! Would love to buy an attachment of the steamworks, diesel works add ons to make a sodor island. Because this set is supposed to be compatible with Thomas &amp; Friends Adventures, TrackMaster, MINIS, and Wooden Railway engines, we thought it would be a wonderful way to bring the boys&rsquo; multiple sets together. Unfortunately, the TrackMaster engines do not transition from the &ldquo;closed&rdquo; tracks that come with the SuperStation to the &ldquo;open&rdquo; tracks that come with the other TrackMaster playsets, and the transition pieces do not make a difference. We have tried to set up different patterns with the tracks over and over, but the TrackMaster engines continue to derail. We own quite a lot of old Trackmaster trains and tracks and some new. It is an impressive set. Holds some interest for maybe half an hour. Like everybody states battery operated trains derail down hill. In order to close loop on the bottom and not derail, we added at least one full straight and one half length straight before closing the loop. Now; the extra tracks we used are all new type (also connectors for the old type are also provided in box), but are different from Super station tracks. On new normal tracks minis and midi trains can't operate (they get caught between high tracks ridges), the battery ones drive without problems. Wish Mattel puts this Super station ridge tracks on market. Also the top level is kind of uninteresting. It would be perfect if it closed a circle so non battery operated trains can go in loop. It is still a very nice set with limited possibility for expansion. Also old trains can't go up the new track hills, as well as new trains can't go up the old track hills even with bottom adjustments. That would be not much of a problem if they made better selection of new r/c operated trains. The tracks are not easy to keep together because they keep seperating on the opposite side when you clip them together. Also, the top track could use a ramp as an alternative option for the trains to go up and down along with the crane. At first glance it seemed like a challenge to build but the instructions were very easy to follow, the pieces are well made and clearly labelled. The super station is bigger than I expected but pretty sturdy and once the tracks are constructed it takes up quite a lot of floor space, depending on the track layout you make. The quality of this set is very good and my son in particular has enjoyed playing with it every day since we received it a few days ago. The set comes with a battery operated Thomas as well as 2 smaller engines and a helicopter. The track set is versatile to be used with regular and micro engines and has some good features such as hanging hooks for the trains which keeps them neat and all together. Overall the set is very good, well made and easy to build. My 5 year old can build the tracks himself quite easily. With the racing and the tracks plus Tidmouth sheds there are lots of different ways for children to play with this set. It really is hours of fun for a Thomas fan but also good for any kids that enjoy playing with vehicles in general. My daughter has enjoyed playing around the top tracks with the smaller trains and operating Cranky the crane. It is definitely suitable from 3 upwards. It's bigger than I expected once it was all together but it's quite the train set! I love how you can really do any set up with the track and that it is compatible with all the different trains. Tip - if you buy any expansion track it will only work for the wooden and trackmaster trains, the others are too narrow for the wheel wells. He can't get enough of his TrackMaster Thomas that runs all by himself. He loves that the adapters allow this to connect with his Wooden Railway collection. For some reason he REALLY loves that his MINIS can hook on to this set. He loves it so much that he started asking for more MINIS just so he can put more of them on the Super Station. This has been a big hit and gets played with every single day for hours. When his grandma bought him some more MINIS, he immediately asked to leave her house so he could go home and play wit them on this set. They aren&rsquo;t grooved enough for train wheels to catch and always stall his train engines no matter what one we use. The other sets we have bought him previously work perfect but these aren&rsquo;t the same. Very dissatisfied as a parent. I&rsquo;ve included a picture of the &ldquo;old&rdquo; CS corner piece and one of the new corner piece, other than that he has a blast with the super station! It has tons of storage and it comes with adapters to other types of track as well. I love the fact that the track works with most of our trains and hotwheels. He has most sets for the Track Master series. After 2 hours of making a much larger set with other track master track we began to play. Within 2 minutes Every train had derailed repeatedly. The tracks do not offer smooth transitions. We spent more time fixing derailed engines than actually watching the trains. They couldn&rsquo;t believe their luck. Train sets are always popular but the fact this was Thomas and Friends, looked like a rollercoaster and had a few things to play with - crane, turntable and junction made it very exciting! My son couldn&rsquo;t take his eyes of it and this kept them occupied for a good couple of weeks and was the focus of a couple of play dates at ours giving me some unexpected time to talk to adults! They used other trains on this and could add more carraiages or Thomas trains if they wished. They enjoyed racing trains down each side of &lsquo;rollercoaster&rsquo; too.
