LEGO Ninjago Movie Fire Mech 70615 is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brilliant aesthetic design, but with some issues Fantastic model, with excellent detail and big! Its a shame it doesnt have knee joints as I think it did in the film. Also the arms are so heavy they only just stay in place when moved outwards. One slightest move and they drop back down to the side so its posability is therefore limited to some degree. Some parts fall off when handled, like when opening the canopy cover, the operator comes loose. BUT, its a great display model and with some effort can be displayed in some action poses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Build This is a good build. I actually built this in the labor room waiting on my third kid to arrive. It was a long day so I needed an activity. The overall look of this mech is pretty good. I am pleased with the size, as it it nice and bid compared to the buildings. I do wish the legs had knees. It is somewhat difficult to get this guy to pose, and there are only a few ways to pose him. All in all a good value for the money. A really good looking mech!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Brilliant Play and Display Piece PROS: I found this set very fun to build. It comes with lovely figures and I think the design is very clever and suits Kai. It also looks amazing displayed. But my little 5 year old sister keeps playing with it! CONS: 1. the legs have no joints, but i guess that can be for stability 2. the legs can sometime s not hold their own weight, this can be very inconvenient for displayers and players . But overall it is a very nice set.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A few points missed I have built quite a few sets for my son and this one is quite disappointing, my son can barely play with it. First the knees don't bend which makes the range of motion very limited.. next the junction of the arms (shoulders) is not strong enough to hold their weight.. same for the elbows, the black pieces are not strong enough to hold the forearms. The gas bottles on the back are also quite weaks and fall appart easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Set's On Fire! First and foremost; this set is HUGE! Seriously, when I entered the LEGO Store and saw it on display for the first time, I was gobsmacked. Now that's out of the way let's get down to business. The Pros: As I have mentioned, the mech is very tall, which is always good with robot sets. The minifigure selection is great for the most part. I love that these sets all come with a hero, a villain or two and at least one civilian to be rescued. That' just great for play. The stickers are not very intrusive and are mostly very large so they are quite easy to apply. The play features of the spinning flames and disc launchers not only work great, but also disguise themselves neatly within the set itself. There are also clips located on each legs to hold Kai's swords, a feature most of the other Ninjago vehicles do not have for their respective Ninja. Overall, the aesthetic is very pleasing, even from the back which normally is left quite ugly. Now, the cons: Due to what i can only assume is for stability's sake, the mech does not have bending knees. this sadly limits the poses you can put it in immensely. The inclusion of Zane, though nice, seems unnecessary to me. Why would i need a single ninja on the ground when I also have a giant mech with flamethrowers for arms? Also, kai doesn't come wit his sword sheathes. I know it's s he can fit in the mech, but it's not like their not easily removable. Though the BIGGEST problem with the set is it's shoulders. The joints used are pathetically weak. It is absolutely impossible to pose the mech with it's arms out sideways. They just droop back down to it's sides. Despite the issues plaguing the mech's ability to be posed, it is a gorgeous mech and I would recommend it to absolutely any LEGO fan. Especially Ninjago fans.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interesting design, too flimsy A good fun build but the resulting mech is too flimsy to play with properly. The flags fall off if the arms are raised too high or even knocked, the legs wobble when it's set down and it's difficult to balance. The arms need maybe an extra set of ball joints to secure them since they have a tendency to drop down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well, very nice build. It was joyful building the Fire Mech. But there is a downside and it can not move its knees. Very disappointing. It is full of stickers, the set has 6 minifigures and it is great for display, but do not count for any action-looking poses. It just stands and stands, and that's all. It has moving legs but it is pointless to try some poses, it can easily fall down. Thankfully, there was a Black Friday offer and I bought it way cheaper than the regular price. Overall I recommend it just because it has great look and very eye-catching build technics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fire In The Hole! The Fire Mech proves that while the LEGO Ninjago Movie may have not been as good as we hoped it to be, the sets not only go outside the LEGO box, they destroy it altogether. I liked the fact that Zane was included, and the character designs are really good. The shark people are also pretty cool. Kai's Fire Mech has disk launchers, something I haven't seen in a LEGO set since my first one, General Magmar's Seige Tower of Doom from NEXO Knights. The moveable legs and the hatch are both very well thought out. However, in a battle between Shark Thug and Hammerhead with a spike and hammer in a fish respectively and Kai with a ginormous Fire Mech over a foot taller than them, the battle is a bit one-sided. Also, Kai can't easily get his katanas unless he gets them out of the holders on the Mech, which, while a very good idea, hinder the progress of playing. PROS: Great characters Cool Design Amazing Flexibilty CONS: No Bad Guy Vehicles No Sword Holder for Kai; Had To Get It From The Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon (not a typo) All in all, this set is a must-have for not just Ninjago LEGO collectors, but any LEGO fan.
