<span itemprop="description">We bought this and had to take it back because the batteries died really quick and when we tried to change them the battery compartment wouldn’t open. The screw just kept turning and turning and wouldn’t pop open. I think it was just faulty.
Also the balls were slightly hard to push in for my 15 month old. It was super cute though and my little guy loved it when we would insert the balls for him.</span>

As most curious children like to stick their hand in the mouth to drop the ball in, we had to pour dawn dish soup all around her arm and down the neck of the toy...I don't recommend this toy for the age group that is specified, went right out to trash!</span>

It has lots of different sounds and features and he loves “feeding” the balls to the giraffe. We’ve had it about a month and I haven’t even figured out which buttons make it do which things, but he has it all figured out and will play with it for 10-15 minutes straight at a time (until all the balls inevitably roll under the couch). The only negative was when his friend was here and his friend stuck his arm inside the hole that the balls come out of at the same time he pushed the button that makes it spin...the giraffe started spinning while his arm was inside and he pulled his arm out and started crying and saying it hurt. My son doesn’t do this himself, but I could see it being a problem with a child who likes to stick his arm inside the toy.</span>

Since the infant can't readily chase the balls that are spit out, in encourages them to play together as a team with the toddler chasing them for her and helping shove them down. A major design flaw is the spinning feature. You can turn off the spin so the infant will be able to put balls in once and then they are lost or out of reach when it spins and spits them out on the opposite direction. Similarly, the toddler will grab it while it's spinning to keep putting balls in, which will eventually ruin the motor. This requires significant oversight from an adult to chase the balls and make sure it's not being "held down". I'd like to be able to sit it in front of my baby and let her work on her motor skills.</span>
