It is pretty powerful. He was running over other toys with it. Only thing wrong is it tends to steer a little in one direction when you're trying to only go straight. He had tried out various remote control vehicles and drones that were more advanced, but they always left him frustrated and intimidated. This toy car is easy to control, zippy, sturdy, and fun. He figured out how to control it within 5 minutes, and he immediately began devising challenges and experiments for the little car (the photo attached shows the toy car inside a space helmet, towing a space shuttle). We have not yet played with it outdoors, but it seems like it would work well on uneven ground and the remote has quite a far range. He has had it for two days. He takes it to bed with him and plays with it all day long. The only thing that bugs me is the fact the car and remote control are screwed into the packaging with small screws. This made it though to go home, because my son wanted the car so bad he screamed all the way home.
