Keeps in the smell very well. I assume this would occur with almost any bag. It's not a big deal right now while the baby is an infant, but it could get worse as he moves to solids. I would still buy this product again as it holds a day worth of diapers while traveling. They are the perfect size to send to the sitter or to throw in a diaper bag when you're on the go. They can hold quite a few diapers but don't take up too much space.
