It's a beautiful beast. I loved it. Whenever my husband commented on how terrible the steering and handling were, I yelled at him. Our two year old loved it too, especially the part where he could ride facing backwards. Then the seatbelt broke off the back seat and we couldn't work out how to reattach it. So we switched our two year old to riding facing forwards. He loved the tray and the new baby won't be born until next month so it was no big deal. Then we discovered that of the 85 million baby capsules compatible with this stroller, only two ridiculously expensive ones are available where we live. We loved this stroller so much that we bought one of those two anyway. Then a month ago, three months after we bought it, the folding mechanism broke. Since it can't fold we can't store it in our car anymore. And since we live on the second floor, and I'm 8 months pregnant and have a hernia, I can't carry it up and down the stairs, so we now have a two hundred and fifty dollar plant stand in our living room. I'm going to focus on the real world aspect of the Caboose, which is awesome. We are an extremely active family, with a 14-month old and a 8-year-old. In the six months or so we've had out Caboose, it has handled about 5 trips to Universal studios (we did that whole pay for one day, get a year free pass, got our moneys worth!) two trips to Knotts Berry Farm, and 4 or 5 trips to Disneyland, not to mention the county fair, and multiple other events. Yes, we get out a lot! On top of all this every single one of these trips was not just us but multiple other family members as well, everyone with lunches, water bottles, souvenirs, etc that they don't want to carry all day, and the Caboose would often become more of a cargo boxcar than caboose! (everyone with close, big families can relate I'm sure!) The Caboose did its job and more. Its easy to maneuver, even when completely loaded beyond its designers intent, takes a ton of abuse, and saves you from a lot of &quot;MOM! I&quot;M TIRED!!!&quot; The back seat says its for kids up to 4 I think, but my 8 year old son and 10 year old niece both use it with zero complaints. Maybe a little cramped, but works just fine! There are drawbacks to everything, its kinda hard to keep folded if you're not paying attention, and its unwieldy to fit in a trunk, but thats the same with any double stroller with the ability to carry two kids and everything that goes along with having two kids, so thats not a justifiable complaint. The style of the harnesses are simple to quickly strap your child in and I love the back stand-on platform that can be converted into a second seat with an extra seat attachment. While the baby rides in the front, my toddler can sit on the bench seat and easily get up. This worked perfectly when we went to the zoo, since she often wanted to get up to go look at something. The sun cover can be tilted forwards or backwards depending on the angle of the sun. This stroller is so helpful for keeping my kids with me while shopping, when it's often essential to confine them to the stroller. I LOVED it. It was one of the higher priced double strollers on the market but it was definitely worth it. Recently, a piece of the brake broke. So, I called the number on the website and immediately connected with someone named Jake. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was worried at first that I was going to have to jump through a bunch of hoops in order to get the brake fixed or replaced or whatever, but I didn't! Jake was great. Thank you Joovy and Jake! Although I do like the design of the Joovy Too Qool more than the Caboose I am looking forward to trying this one. We got this when my daughter was a newborn, and used the universal carseat adapter with our Chicco Keyfit30 and it worked perfectly. My son, who was 2 at the time, and quite busy, loved that he could just hop on and off the little platform as he pleased. You do need to have the front seat slightly reclined for the carseat to fit, so while it&rsquo;s not impossible to have the older child sit on the rear bench, it wasn&rsquo;t the most comfortable for him&mdash;he had to lean forward a bit. The rear bench does have a seat buckle, which is perfect for keeping a wild toddler in the stroller when necessary. But it&rsquo;s also great to leave unbuckled and for letting a toddler to have the freedom to stand or sit as he pleases. And I like that it slides, so when he&rsquo;s standing I can get into the bottom storage basket. As my youngest got older and no longer needed to be in her carseat, we utilized the caboose rear seat. That way, she would sit up and see what was going on and my son could sit in the front seat. It&rsquo;s easy to steer with an infant and a two year old. My only complaint is that the rear seat doesn&rsquo;t recline as much, so it wasn&rsquo;t really possible to have both of the kids asleep in the stroller at once. Although I only remember 2 instances where they both would have napped at the same time. Maneuvering it with a baby and a toddler is a breeze, and it&rsquo;s perfect for shopping in stores that have a ton of clothing racks. I never had issues with not being able to fit it places. The parent organizer is a great feature. I like that it has the zipper compartment so I can always keep a spare paci or two in there and don&rsquo;t have to worry about it falling out in a parking lot when I fold the stroller up. I had no problems folding the stroller, and it fits nicely in the back of our mini van or SUV. It folds up pretty compact for a double and is quite light. I never struggle with hoisting it in or out of our vehicles and I don&rsquo;t have the best upper body strength. I love the bright green color we have and it makes it easy to spot when you&rsquo;re required to park your stroller in a sea of black strollers. I would buy this stroller again in a heartbeat and definitely recommend to friends. Pros: The straps adjust easily to fit either of our boys (a 2 year old and an 8 month old), and our toddler loves standing on the back platform. He also likes the freedom of getting on and off easily himself. Even my 5 year old niece loves to ride on back platform and seat and, despite being the size of your average 7 year old, still fits rather comfortably. The large canopy is great (and one of the reasons we bought this particular stroller). It also folds well and has a large range of motion so when it's open our little guy can see so much better than in his old stroller. The ride is smooth, even when moving quickly to keep up with a two year old. The cupholder is big enough to hold even our large water bottles. Cons: It doesn't always stay folded as well as I'd like, but it's a minor inconvenience at best. The back seems like it would be crowded if you bought the second seat attachment, but we don't have one so I can't say from experience. Overall, we are so glad we bought this! This one is perfect! I drive a Chevy Equinox and this stroller fits in the rear cargo space, while the previous tandem I owned didn't. It's lightweight, which is great since I am a fairly small individual. I also love that it doesn't feel like I'm pushing around a huge limo. It's very easy to navigate through stores. I have the organizer and the additional jumpseat. They definitely come in handy. The upgraded wheels on this stroller from previous models made me take a second look. I have the discontinued TwoFold, which is amazing, but this is my go to car stroller. Fully loaded, every stroller is going to take some effort to turn, but I can regularly hold a coffee and push kiddos rolling around on smooth ground. When you are shopping, having a kid hop in and out is great. And I've even taken this as a single loaded up like a shopping cart. (A hand basket fits across the back seat!) The included console and car seat adapter is a killer deal. This is our zoo, aquarium, travel stroller.
