I was looking for a nice toy box that wasn't overly juvenile looking. This looks like a finished piece of furniture in a bedroom, family room, etc. Nice hinging system prevents little fingers from being pinched. The only thing I would change is having felt pads on the lid so it doesn't close wood on wood. We added felt pads to keep it quiet closing. Average size, easy to put together. This will be the one I go back and re-purchase when it's time for a toy box at &quot;glamma's&quot; house.
