La garantie étant de 12 mois nous devrons donc racheter un autre moniteur, ce qui est très décevant pour un produit qui frôle les 200$. Nous pensions avoir investi en achetant ce produit et qu’il serait bon pour au minimum le temps de faire notre famille, très déçu! Nous allons réinvestir dans une autre marque.</span>

The screen buttons broke and fell into the monitor the first time and we bought a second one and the clip instantly broke off the back. The night vision sucks. It’s so foggy I can’t even see my kids. When I talk in the monitor to camera the button sometimes gets stuck down and makes a horrible noise. Have gone through 2 in 2 years now looking at a different monitor.</span>

The camera is only about 20 feet away and it cuts out all the time. Lately you have to unplug the camera and plug it back in to get it to work. Horrible. Will be looking for a new one.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought an additional camera to go with the camera and monitor. We have had nothing but an annoying experience with this model. It loses signal when we are less than 20 feet away. After a few months the monitor would not hold it's charge for as long. After a year of owning it (right when the warranty expires) the monitor requires to be plugged in at all times or the battery will die instantly. I hate this product and currently looking to purchase a new one.. stay away from this brand... my sister in law is having the same issue with her summer infant monitor and her baby is only 5 months old.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is my second summer infant baby monitor. I previously purchased the older model. So far I have replaced the charging cords 2 x each. Luckily one was purchased under warranty so I was able to get a cord free of charge direct from summer infant. This model is 2 years old and the pin inside the adapter fell out. A week later this happened to the older model that is 4 years old. I now have 2 cameras no monitor. I need 2 systems. So I am stuck buying this one again so that I can use both cameras (2.0) with the one monitor. As far as the quality, during the day you can see more clear but night it is not the best, although it served its purpose. I do not have any other brand to compare the vision with. I would not recommend unless you wont need past 2 years.</span>

La seule chose qui est décevante c'est la qualité de l'image, c'est difficile de savoir parfois comment est placé mon bébé ou bien s'il est sur le dos ou sur le ventre tellement la qualité n'est pas très visible. Par contre, pour le son, il détecte chaque petit son sans problème. En général, le produit fonctionne très bien malgré tout.</span>

We had an older monitor lent to us that was a different brand, Its batteries lasted all day and also clipped on your belt. If batteries lasted several hours instead of 2-3 I would give 4 or 5. Le signal se rend assez loin pour aller dehors, mais se rend pas à la rue ou aux voisins donc personne peut se connecter à moins d'etre sur le terrain. Pour le prix c'est parfait, à moins d'avoir un besoin particulier je ne vois pas l'utilité de payer plus cher pour une meilleure image, un signal plus fort ou une meilleure batterie.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We found this monitor to have a poor battery life. Now at one year, we cannot use the monitor without it being plugged it, it will not hold a charge. We got this one, anticipating a second baby and buying the second monitor to do a split screen - but I think we will just purchase a whole new system from a different company.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This was our second monitor, the first one broke the charging piece broke inside the camera. This one didn’t even last a year. Won’t work unless plugged in and most times you have to u lmao plug the camera and than turn on the monitor. Now it won’t work at all. It’s expensive and it’s garbage. I’m literally shopping for my third. My daughter is 2. Unbelievable.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I read the negative reviews about the night vision, and decided to purchase anyway, hoping it would still have similar quality to the older version of this monitor. But, we are extremely dissatisfied and frustrated. The reviews were right, the night vision is terrible. You would expect that a more recent model, with more "up-to-date" technology would be the same, if not better quality than a previous version. But it's not. And they have discontinued the previous model, so we can't simply purchase a second camera for our original model, which is why we "invested" in a brand new system. We haven't been happy with our original model in the first place, but can't believe that this newer version could be even worse. We will be promptly returning this.</span>

Thanks for your question. We use Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS). What that means is the system hops between channels regardless of the presence of interference nearby, the idea is by hopping around we would not become a source of continuous interference for older non-hopping radio devices.

The Wide View 2.0 Color Video Monitor allows you to select the camera you would like to view and hear sound from or you can use the auto-scan feature that will scan between each camera every 8 seconds.
