It is a beautiful table that matches our playroom perfectly! I put it together immediately upon arrival. It was easy to assemble and looked just as beautiful as I hoped. However, the chairs began to break almost immediately. I thought after the first chair fell apart and had to be reconstructed by my husband, that perhaps it was just a fluke. However, after just over a year, every single chair has broken in exactly the same place (along the dowels that hold the supporting wood in place at the legs). My husband and I have had to reconstruct these cute little chairs using glue and screws in order to salvage some sort of stability for our children. We have many KidKraft items in our house and have been incredibly disappointed by the quality of this piece. Yes the chairs will fall apart if you don't randomly tighten the screws with an allen key but my kids crib does the same thing ;) My husband I also have had many a meals on those little chairs with my daughter and neither of us are small and they have still stood the test of time.
