Disney Junior The Lion Guard - Protect the Pride Lands Game is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best team-building game yet for 6+, great concept Most games for hound players are geared toward competition among friends and families with someone always feeling like the loser.. Setting up further rivalry for those who have yet to realize the aspect of fun, win or lose.... Not this game which pits all players against a common threat, those who are trying to steal the lion's rightful place in the kingdom. My 6 yr. old grandson grasped this concept of team play easily and challenged his siblings to join him in his defensive strategy.. Reading the board and making the most protective decisions had each take turns in leadership.... Impressive.. Cudos to the creator . Would recommend this game heartily!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun cooperative game for mixed ages This game is played cooperatively, meaning all players are working together as the Lion Guard. This concept works beautifully for my preschooler and elementary schooler to play together, because their skill levels are not equal to play competitively. I also like that you don't pick a character, but rather the card tells you which of two characters you can choose to move that turn. This keeps kids from fighting over the same favorite character. The game was easy to learn but still a fun challenge to play. Parents will enjoy playing it with their kids, because it has strategy as well as chance. Great family game! The plastic Lion Guard figures are well made and fun to play with too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Family Game Our 5-year-old granddaughter is obsessed with the Lion Guard, so when we let her pick out a game to play, this was her selection. We had a great time with this game. We particularly like that you play as a team and not as individuals, as it's the Lion Guard against the Outlanders. The objective is to get Kion to the top of the rock before any one of the Outlanders reach the bottom of the rock. You have to make decisions regarding the moves, so there is strategy involved that requires everyone working together. Enjoyed it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Challenging game! This game is a strategy game. You have to keep all the "outlanders" from taking over pride rock. Meanwhile, you also have to get Kion to the top. You play as a team. You can banish outlanders with Beshte, Bunga, or Fuli. When you turn over a card, you have to do two things, add an outlander (vulture, snake, or hyena), then move one of the characters. Sometimes, you will have the choice of moving Kion or another character, The goal is to get Kion to the top before one of the outlanders makes it to the multicolored rock. This game is definitely challenging! I really do think it has a lot to do with the order the cards are in. It took us at least 5 tries to finally win the game! It takes a while to play, but that said my five year old Lion Guard enthusiast enjoys playing the game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lion Guard - Protect the Pride lands My grand daughter loves playing this game with her family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for kids My kid's enjoy the Lion Guard and decided to purchase the game. It was easy to put together for my 8 and 5 years old kids. It included all the main characters except the bird, which my kids quickly noticed. The concept of the game is simple and teaches them to work together as a team. After playing the game for 5-6 times and winning each time; my kids begin to make different rules in order entertain themselves more. Overall not a bad game for teamwork, but can be quickly outgrown by kids.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Any Lion Guard fan will LOVE this game! The only thing I'd suggest doing is to buy Lion Guard Busy Books and use the lil figures to add to the game itself; because WonderForge left out the Ono character. Using those busy book figures makes the game more complete and definitely adds the astheic of it! I even sent a picture to the WF's Twitter and they positively responded with saying that was a good idea to add on like that. The game is fun and honestly for all ages! Rooarrrr!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Very clever game, keeps my 3 1/2 year old, very busy sons attention and he is able to keep up and learn. I also like that when kids are playing they aren't playing against each other they are playing with each other to try to beat he game together and each child that's playing gets to make their own decisions on what they think will help the "team" beat he game
