Creating Your Preferences

It's simple, it's fast and it makes it easy to receive all the communications you want from Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us. All you have to do is sign up, fill in your information and select your preferences. Then you're ready to go! It's that easy!

How do I setup my Toys"R"Us/Babies"R"Us email preferences?

To set up your email preferences, just follow the steps below: Begin at the Email Preference Centre Home Page

  • Fill in all necessary information on the sign-up form. Note that you must be the legal age of majority in the province/ territory in which you reside and consent to the terms and conditions to receive emails. You will need to create a password so you can update your preferences in the future.
  • Once you have filled out your information, simply click the "SIGN UP NOW" button.
  • Once you click “SIGN UP NOW”, you'll be taken to a page where you'll have the option to personalize your communications. On this page you can choose your language preferences, select emails you would like to receive, add children’s birthdays and even select how often you would like to hear from us.
  • To change your preferences after you've signed up, sign into your Email Preference Centre with your password. Then update your preferences and click the "UPDATE NOW" button to save your updates.
  • Don’t worry if you forget or misplace your password. You can create a new password. From the Email Preference Center, click on “Sign In”. Enter your email address. Click on “Forgot Password”. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Enter your new password; (remember that your password must be at least 6 characters long and are case-sensitive). Confirm your password and “Submit”. You will receive a Thank You message to let you know your password has been changed


Can I define my preferences in a store or over the phone?

At this time, you can only make or create email preferences online, not in store.

You can also update or modify your preferences via phone by contacting our Customer Service Team at 1-800-TOYSRUS (1-800-869-7787).


How do I know my preferences have been saved?

Shortly after you submit your email preferences, you will receive a confirmation email.

If you choose to modify your preferences after signing up, you can:

  • Log on to your Email Preference Centre with your password
  • Update or change your preferences
  • Click the "UPDATE NOW" button to finalize your changes

We will update your preference centre and put your changes into effect as soon as possible.


How soon will my preferences and updates go into effect?

Once you have submitted or changed your information and preferences, we will update your Email Preferences and put your requests into effect as soon as possible. You will also receive an email confirming any changes or updates to your Preference Centre.


Can I create preferences for more than one email address?

No problem! You can create email preferences for as many email addresses as you'd like. Simply create an account for each email address.


Why do I have to type my password in twice?

Creating a password keeps your information private and secure. You are required to type your password in twice to ensure that you haven't mistyped your password.

You can log on anytime with your email address and password to access or change your personal information or preferences.
